I want to judge them, oh my goodness do I want to. We know their viewpoints and very outspoken disapproval of homosexuality. We know that they have judged me without knowing me, they’ve judged my family without knowing us, we know how they’ve judged us all.
But I won’t judge the Duggars!
At this point they’re making it almost too easy. On May 21st of this year Josh Duggar admitted that he had sexually molested at least five underage girls in the early 2000s. The kicker is that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar knew about this and took over a year to report his crimes to authorities.
Now – Josh Duggar has brought another black mark over his family by having a paid account on the, now infamous, Ashley Madison cheating website. It has come out that he has paid around $986 to the website between 2012 and 2015.
Today he issued this statement;
I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife,”
That’s right Josh Duggar – you are a hypocrite!! You and your family judge without knowing, you put yourselves up on a pedestal that you’re better than us, you believe that you live a better life then we do. You Mr Duggar are a hypocrite. (Remember he called himself a hypocrite).
But I won’t judge the Duggars!
I won’t judge them because then I too become a hypocrite. By judging them I will show my daughter that I am just the same as they are. I want my daughter to grow up accepting everyone, something often easier said than done, to this day I often times have difficulties with this myself. I want my daughter to have empathy for others. I want my daughter to know that we never know what someone has been through and to judge others is not acceptable.
Of course all of these are life lessons, and I hope that I can show Gradie these qualities and how to possess them in her life. I want her to know that no one has the right to judge us but the One to whom we have to ultimately answer to. I also want her to know forgiveness. To know that people do mess up, people do make mistakes. Heaven knows I’ve made more than my fair share of them, but I want her to know that we can ask for forgiveness and receive it, just as others can ask for our forgiveness and, hopefully, in our hearts we’ll be able to forgive them too.
To the Duggars – I forgive you!
To the Duggars’ I offer you my forgiveness. I forgive you for blindly judging me, I forgive you for blindly judging my family and I forgive you for the harm you’ve brought to the homosexual community by your hurtful accusations of the homosexual lifestyle, and our supposed ‘hidden agenda.’

Beautifully said and compassionately thought! If only all the world thought this way! (In general!)
